Move with WASD, arrows, or drag the playfield. Your selected weapon fires straight ahead automatically. Tap the weapon selector or press Q to cycle; 1 selects Stuttergun, 2 selects Cutter. The short-range Cutter breaks asteroids quickly; the Stuttergun does more damage to enemies and chips asteroids more slowly. Destroyed asteroids drop salvage. Space or the Nova button clears hazards and damages eligible onscreen enemies. Incoming enemies have a visible 0.65-second entry shield and cannot attack during it. P or Escape pauses. Sound can be toggled in the hangar or pause menu.
Homing Missiles seek enemies. Wing Drones orbit and fire alongside either weapon. Ricochet chains Stuttergun hits to nearby enemies. These modules persist between stages and stack to rank III; further duplicates add three seconds of Overdrive.
Overdrive boosts speed, firing and Cutter output for 8 seconds (16-second cap). Stasis slows enemies and their shots for 6 seconds (12-second cap). Repair Burst restores one hull point, grants one shield charge and clears nearby hostile shots. Timers stop while paused.
Power drops arrive every 11 seconds after the first at 7 seconds. Every twelfth drone kill can drop a bonus, at most once per 12 seconds. After each cleared stage, choose one module before Continue. A new run resets modules and timed effects.
Three stages: The Wake, Wreckfield, and The Hunger. Each stage requires 60 seconds survived and its boss defeated, with 30 seconds of overtime. Xeroti Tidofiza is the final boss. Clear a stage to unlock replay; Continue restores one hull point and one Nova and upgrades weapons, up to their caps. Three hull points; two starting Novas. Six upgrade tiers improve gun volleys and damage, Cutter reach and mining, salvage attraction, shields and Nova damage/capacity. Every fourteen platinum salvage pickups earn a tier; purple circuits and stage Continue also grant one, capped at VI. Shields unlock at III (one hit) and VI (two), refilling on upgrades and Continue. Enemy durability scales at spawn with your loadout; existing enemies do not gain health when you upgrade. Wave size grows every two tiers, capped at 12 active/incoming drones; tiers IV–VI also face periodic boss escorts. Purple circuits upgrade both weapons, blue fuel restores a Nova, ice repairs hull, and platinum adds salvage. Best score is stored only in this browser, separately from the original Frontier Drift saves.
